Oscar Sarlinga

Oscar Domingo Sarlinga ( born May 20, 1963 in Buenos Aires ) is Bishop of Zárate - Campana.

Life

Oscar Domingo Sarlinga received on 30 April 1990, the ordination.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 12 April 2003, Titular Bishop of Uzalis and Auxiliary Bishop of Mercedes- Luján. He received his episcopal consecration of the Archbishop of Mercedes- Luján, Rubén Héctor di Monte on 17 May of the same year; Co-consecrators were Jorge Mario Cardinal Bergoglio SJ, Archbishop of Buenos Aires, and Emilio Ogñénovich, emeritus Archbishop of Mercedes- Luján.

On February 3, 2006 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him. Bishop of Zárate - Campana. The solemn inauguration ( enthronement ) was held on 18 February of the same year.
