Oscularia is a plant genus of the family of Mesembryanthemum plants ( Aizoaceae ). The botanical name derives from the Latin word for osculum, small mouth ' from.

Description

The species of the genus Oscularia grow as shrubs with some upright, in the majority, however, outstretched to prostrate branches. Your most brilliant internodes are reddish brown. Your very light gray leaves are triangular, convex on its pages, thicker than broad and keeled noticeably. In some species, the leaf margin and keel are perforated.

The flowers appear in terminal cymes. Sometimes including more cymes are present and form an impressive, composite inflorescence. In some species the flower are arranged individually or in groups dreiblütigen. There are five sepals present. The petals are white to deep pink. The filamentous staminodes are different in number.
