Oslo West Station

The Vestbanestasjon (German Westbahnhof), colloquially called simply Vestbanen, is a former railway station in Oslo, Norway. It is located at Brynjulf ​​Bulls plass 1 It was built in 1872 and served until the commissioning of the new Sentralstasjon in 1989 as the terminus of the Drammenbane.

Station building

The station building was designed by the architect Georg Andreas Bull in the style of historicism. It was built as a plastered brick building. The two low towers framed façade, the Town Hall Square ( Rådhusplassen ) is diagonal to the principal direction of the building. The windows and doors are decorated with arches.
