Österleden, Stockholm

Österleden is a planned highway in the Swedish capital Stockholm. The highway to the east lead past the downtown area, it would be the last part of the unfinished Stockholm ring road. 2007 a ​​feasibility study was commissioned, in which the feedback from the provincial government is still pending. History

The initial planning for a compound east of the city center, were part of the regional plans of 1928 and 1960. In 1997 the agreement was undone and the tunnel plans discarded.

Progress and costs

The project study contains three possible variants of the route.
