Ostrowski Prize

The Ostrowski Prize is a mathematics prize, donated by Alexander Markovich Ostrowski.

It is awarded by the resident at the University of Basel Ostrowski Foundation since 1989 every two years for outstanding scientific achievements in the pure or the basics of numerical mathematics. It is endowed with 100 000 Swiss francs and a scholarship of CHF 25 000.
