Oto Pestner
Oto Pestner ( born January 4, 1956 in Celje, Yugoslavia ) is a Slovenian singer and musician.
Life
Pestner, a member of the minority group of Sinti, was from 1970 until the end of 2008, head of the New Swing Quartet, a Slovenian vocal group.
In the German -speaking world, he is as a singer of Alpenoberkrainer, where he was a member between 1986 and 1991 and 1995, is known. During this period, 10 recordings were produced in which Pestner partly occurred as a composer. For marketing reasons, the record company VM -records has changed its name to Otto.
For the young Slovenian newcomer band Dori he produced several songs.
Today Pestner lives in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia.
