Otto Frommknecht

Otto Frommknecht ( born November 17, 1881 in Green Brook, Allgaeu, † August 16, 1969 ) was a German politician and Bavarian State Minister of Transport ( 1947-1950 ).

After high school he studied at the Technical University in Munich. Since 1901 he was a member of the Catholic Student Association KDSt.V. Vindelicia Munich. From 1909 he worked as a civil engineering expert at the Royal Bavarian State Railways (later German Reichsbahn ). From 1919 to 1933 he was a member of the Bavarian People's Party.
