Otto Keller (footballer)
Otto Keller ( born February 23, 1939) is a former German football player, who graduated from 1959 to 1961 at VfL Bochum in the Oberliga West 42 games with nine goals.
Career
As Active from the Bochum district association Maerkischer BV Linden of the Right Wing Otto Keller was nominated on 15 April 1959 by DFB coach George Gawliczek for the game between the national soccer team of amateurs in Enschede against Holland. 2-0 victory - both goals scored by center forward Erwin Stein - he made with Heinz Higher the right wing. To round 1959/60 he was active from VfL Bochum in the Oberliga West. On opening day, August 23, 1959 he made his debut in the 1-1 draw at VfL Hamborn 07 in League team and he also brought in the 48th minute with a goal Bochum 1-0 lead. The ex- amateur players completed 15 league games with three goals and Bochum was ranked eleventh place in the final table. Increased as the winger his personal balance sheet in the second year, 1960/61, at 27 game with six goals, was not enough to avoid relegation for the Bochum secure. VfL rose in 1961 from out of the league. In the Second Division occupied the basement and his teammates in the Round 1961/62 to third place behind the two rising stars in the league, Bayer Leverkusen and Wuppertal SV. On the second matchday of the Regional Football 1963/64, RWO lost with 5:8 Goals Fortuna Dusseldorf, he finished with his goal in the 87th minute to 5:8, the high-scoring game. Keller ran in 22 league games for Oberhausen and landed with his teammates Kobluhn Lothar and Hans Meyer at Siemens broadcast in seventh place in the table. Under coach Willibald Hahn, he came second in the Regional game year 1964/65 only to three inserts.
