Otto Kinne

Otto Kinne (* 1923 in Bremerhaven ) is a German marine biologist who deals with marine ecology, zoology, physiology of marine animals, water pollution and problems of bioethics and in 1984 awarded the Karl Ritter von Frisch Medal of the German Zoological Society ( DZG ).

Life

After graduation, he earned a degree in zoology, botany and oceanography at the Christian -Albrechts -University of Kiel, where he took on March 19, 1952 his doctorate in natural sciences with a thesis on "Experimental Studies on the biology, ecology and physiology of Gammarus duebeni lilij: A contribution to the knowledge d brackish water organisms " from.
