Otto Marischka

Otto Marischka (* May 31, 1912, † 10 January 1991) was an Austrian national football team.

Marischka played in the position of left full-back. His greatest successes he achieved at the club Admira Vienna.

In the 1934/35 season he played for the Favoritner SC. In the years 1936, 1937 and 1939, he was with Admira Austrian champion. In 1937 he played with in the Mitropa Cup Admira. In 1939, the team reached the final of the German Cup, against FC Schalke 04, but lost the Admiralty with 0:9. In the final round of the German football championship, he was inducted into this year eight times. In the same year Marischka played on 27 August for the German national team in Bratislava against Slovakia. This game was lost 0-2 and it remained the only international game Marischka. In 1941 he reached with Admira in Tschammerpokal the semi-final, which was lost to the Dresden SC 2:4. Marischka still played until 1947 for the Admiralty. He also played for Wacker Wien.

Marishka is the founder of the building services provider ISS Austria. In 1956 he founded the " Building Cleaning Otto Marischka " which merged in 1971 with the Danish service group ISS ISS Marischka GesmbH, which was later renamed ISS Servisystem GmbH.
