Otto Nilsson

Sven Otto Nilsson ( born February 26, 1879 in Gothenburg, † November 10, 1960 ) was a Swedish athlete who was successful at the beginning of the 20th century in the javelin. In the shadow of Erik Lemming standing, he only won two Swedish championships in beidarmigen Throw:

He started for the Örgryte IS.

In the IV Summer Olympics in London in 1908, where the javelin for the first time on the program, he won behind Erik Lemming ( gold with 54.83 meters ) and the Norwegian Arne Halse ( silver with 50.58 m) with a capacity of 47, 10 m bronze medal.

Also at the V. Summer Olympics in Stockholm in 1912 he took on both the single and the beidarmigen javelin part and achieved positions 10 ( 49.18 m; victories width of Erik Lemming: 60,64 m ) and 8 ( 88.90 m; victories width of the Finns Julius Saaristo: 109; 42 m)
