Otto Tangen

Otto Tangen (* January 28, 1886, † 1956) was a Norwegian nordic combined.

Career

Tangen, who competed for the IF Liv in Hønefoss, won the silver medal behind Knut Holst in the Nordic combined at the Norwegian Nordic Ski Championships 1911 in his home. Together with Holst he was awarded the Holmenkollen medal little later.

Tangen was also active as a skier in the military. So he was already in 1909 to a Norwegian military patrol headed by Finn Qvale in France.
