Ou Est Le Swimming Pool ( German: where is the swimming pool) was a British synthpop band.

History

The band was founded in the London Borough of Camden by Charles Haddon, Joe Hutchinson and Caan Capan 2009. In the same year she succeeded with the debut single Dance the Way I Feel breakthrough. She reached the top ten of the UK indie charts and the Australian ARIA Charts. Then, the three musicians have been invited as a support of the band La Roux on a tour through Great Britain. It was followed by other performances at Bestival and Glastonbury Festival. 2010 published two more singles, the debut album The Golden Years was released on October 3, 2010.

On 20 August 2010, Charles Haddon, the lead singer of the band, after a gig at the Pukkelpop festival in Kiewit life. He had climbed a 18-meter- high radio mast in the backstage area and plunged to his death. The suicide resulted from an incident in which the singer a young girl probably seriously injured when attempting to crowd surf. His despair about the fact that the girl could possibly keep irreparable damage, drove him to his suicide.

On 3 October 2010, the two remaining band members in London organized a concert in memory of Charles Haddon. It occurred including The Kooks and Mr. Hudson. The £ 8,000 proceeds that could be played by the concert were donated to charitable organizations.
