Outeniqua mountains in the north of George
The Outeniqua Mountains are a mountain range in the district of Eden, Western Cape Province in South Africa. They are part of the Cape Fold Belt.
It extends parallel to the coast of Mossel Bay about 100 km east to Plettenberg Bay. The main passes are the Montagu Pass and the Outeniqua Pass.
The name Outeniqua means in the language of the Khoisan "Men carry the honey ."
