Outworld

Outworld was founded in 1997, progressive metal band from Rusty Cooley from Houston, Texas.

History

The original crew consisted of Bobby Williamson (keyboards), Rusty Cooley (guitar), Darren Davis (drums ) and Brent Marches ( bass). They originally wanted to make pure instrumental music, but after a short time they decided to take the singer Kelly Carpenter in the band.

Outworld worked on two bonus tracks for the solo album of Rusty cooley, which was released in January 2003. They signed a contract in mid-2003 with the Danish record label Intromental Records. Later that year, the bassist Brent Marches by Shawn Kascak and drummer Darren Davis was replaced by Matt Mckenna. Kelly Carpenter decided end of 2004, the Danish metal band Beyond Twilight join, but remained until the fall of 2006 with Carlos Zema in Outworld.

In December 2004, Outworld signed a contract with Replica Records. On 13 November 2006 her first album was released Outworld.

In August 2007, Outworld won the Fame Cast Fenom Contest in the category of Metal, after they were elected in all 6 rounds at # 1.

On 12 March 2008, the band announced that the founding members Bobby Williamson and singer Carlos Zema left the band. Are you looking for a new singer and a second guitarist (instead of the keyboard player ) to get a heavier sound for the new album.

On 24 March 2009 announced Rusty Cooley that he would have dissolved Outworld, and with the current occupation of a new project starts.

Style

Outworld are most likely attributable to the Progressive Metal, but mix many different styles. Musically, the band Dream Theater, Iron Maiden, Pantera, and Symphony X is to be compared, while their overall sound was influenced by bands like Meshuggah and Nevermore.
