Ove Andersen (athlete)

Ove Andersen ( born August 2, 1899 in Kymi, † January 13, 1967 in Lahti ) was a Finnish steeplechaser.

Andersen won at the 1928 Olympics in Amsterdam behind his compatriots Toivo Loukola and Paavo Nurmi, the bronze medal in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.

Ove Andersen was 1.78 m tall and had a competition weight of about 70 kg. He started for Urheilijat Lahti Lahti.
