Geography

Ovelgünne is in the northwest of Magdeburg in a hilly area on the Allerquellen ( one of the sources located near the district winner lives). Southeast of the town reach the green hills 183 meters above sea level. NN. Seehausen is about 6 km, the state capital Magdeburg, about 22 km from Ovelgünne.

Between Ovelgünne and express life is since 1999 a large wind farm in operation.
