Oxford German Studies

Oxford German Studies (OGS ) is a scientific journal for aspects of German culture, which appears at the University of Oxford ( UK).

The magazine is published in three, from 2014 in four issues per year, of which usually has any issues in focus.

History

The Oxford German Studies were Ernest L. Stahl, Peter Ganz, Malcolm Pasley and Terence James Reed at the University of Oxford ( England) founded in 1966 to generally promote research on German literature and culture from the Middle Ages to the present.

Editors and Editorial Advisory Board

Editor of the Oxford German Studies are Terence James Reed ( The Queen 's College, Oxford) and Nigel F. Palmer (St Edmund Hall Oxford). To the editorial board of the OGS include Jill Bepler (Herzog August Bibliothek Wolfenbüttel ), Katrin Kohl ( University of Oxford ), Susanne Köbele (University of Zurich ), Karen Leeder (University of Oxford) and Eve Rosenhaft (University of Liverpool).

Profile

The Oxford German Studies publish scientific papers on aspects of German culture. Posts in English or German will be published after passing through the review process. At the heart of the German literature from the Middle Ages is to the present; Language, history, philosophy, music and visual arts of the German-speaking countries supplement the literary focus. The criteria of inclusion of contributions that these scientifically worked carefully, are easy to read, and bring new content.

All submitted papers are subject to peer review.
