The Oxley River is a river in the far northeast of the Australian state of New South Wales.
Origin of the name
The river was named after the Australian explorer John Oxley ( 1785-1828 ).
Geography
The Oxley River rises in Tyalgum, northwest of Mount Warning National Park and flows east. North of Byangum it flows into the Tweed River.
