Özgür Özata

Özgür Özata ( born February 17, 1977 in İskenderun, Turkey ) is a former German actor and writer of Turkish origin. Since June 2011 he has directed the Chichili Agency Berlin office as a literary agent. Since July 2011 he is member of the Editorial Board www.berlinturk.de in the online news portal. Since February 2012, he is the editor of the eponymous monthly news magazine and free Berlin Turk.

Life

Özgür Özata came with his parents in 1980 to Berlin. His mother is a journalist, author and his father sworn interpreter for the German and Turkish language.

He began his acting career at age 13. His first role in The Million heritage with Günter Pfitzmann in the lead role. Since then, he has appeared in over 40 film projects. Özgür Özata was one of the first performer in the index of the Agency and international actors could increasingly prevail at castings. He is one of the first young German - Turks in the German film industry.

Özata was " the Zwiefachen " active in the youth group in 2001 at the theater in Berlin. He took a year of private lessons with Nina Gaidarova, who learned at The Actors Studio in New York City and taught for three years. At age 27 he attended a year the private drama school Reduta - Berlin.

Özgür Özata was until 2011 the Federal Association of Film and television actor, Amnesty International, and is also member of the SPD.

His first work as an author "Made in Berlin " was released 28 April 2011 ( e-book ) and rose up into the sales ranks of e-books of a known German book online retailer (up to second place on 7 May). Since about the beginning of May 2011, he is no longer represented by his previous acting agency international actors.

Özgür Özata has ended his career as an actor. He is a literary agent for the Agency and represents the Chichili 2011 he founded Berlin office.
