Pablo Morales

Pedro Pablo Morales ( born December 5, 1964 in Chicago ) is a former American swimmer.

He won a gold and two silver medals at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. About 100 m butterfly, he was second behind Michael Gross, about 200 m medley he was powerless against Alex Baumann, who won in world record time. Finally his first Olympic victory he was able to win the 4 × 100 m medley relay.

Two years later he won the 100m butterfly gold at the World Swimming Championships. At the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992, he was over 100 m butterfly and the 4 × 100 m relay Olympic champion.

After his career as a swimmer he was swimming coach. In 1998 he was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the international swimming sport.
