Takeover by MidAmerican Energy Holdings

Pacific Power was sold to Scottish Power in 2001. In March 2006, Pacific Power MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company by a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, acquired for 5.1 billion U.S. dollars.

The supply area covers about 350,000 square kilometers. You have 25,141 km pipelines, 70,570 km regional lines, 23,350 km of underground lines and more than 900 distribution substations. Pacific Power has about 45,000 customers in Siskiyou County in northern California.
