Paddy McAloon

Paddy McAloon ( born June 7, 1957 in Newcastle, Northumberland, England as Patrick Joseph McAloon ) is a British singer and songwriter. He is the lead singer and songwriter of the British band Prefab Sprout.

Life

Because of an eye complaint to McAloon 2002 had to undergo a complicated operation that had a week-long blindness result. During this time he heard intense radio, especially talk radio, and recorded radio broadcasts and frequency noise. He processed the material obtained his first solo album, I Trawl The Megahertz, which appeared in 2003.
