Pádraic McCormack

Pádraic McCormack (Irish Pádraic Mac Cormaic, born May 16, 1942) is an Irish politician and since 1989 a deputy in the lower house of the Irish Parliament.

McCormack was 1987-1989 Seanad Éireann senator in. In 1989, the former member of Galway County Council was first elected for Fine Gael in the Dáil Éireann. In the following elections succeeded McCormack his seat in the Dáil to defend. In April 2006, McCormack was known to no longer be available for re-election in 2007. However, after Brian Walsh, who was a candidate instead of McCormack, its part of a candidacy took distance, McCormack reversed its decision and stood for re-election in 2007.

1992-1993 McCormack held the office of Mayor of Galway.
