Paladin Energy Ltd ( PDN) is the second largest uranium funding companies by the Energy Resources of Australia in Australia, which is listed on both the Australian Securities Exchange ( ASX), Toronto Stock Exchange ( TSX) and on the Namibian Stock Exchange ( NSX ). Paladin was established in 1993 and engaged since 1988 in the uranium mining, contrary to the trend of his time, which was caused by falling uranium prices. Its head office is located in Perth.

The company refers in its name explicitly to Paladin, equipped with a special dignity nobles, usually a knight.

Paladin pursues uranium mining projects in Manyingee and Oobagooma in Western Australia, in Pigrily and Angela / Pamela in the Northern Territory and a Mount Isa Project in Queensland, Western Australia. In Africa Paladin operates two mines: In Namibia, Paladin is involved in the Langer Heinrich uranium mine and intends to increase the production rate, as well as in Malawi in the Kayelekera uranium mine, is in the cut since April 2009. In order to finance the repayment of bonds worth 250 million U.S. dollars and to the expansion of the mining activities in the Langer Heinrich uranium mine in Namibia laid Energy Resources 5 years dated fixed income securities on in a volume of 300 million U.S. dollars.
