Palais Ludwig Ferdinand

The Palais Ludwig Ferdinand ( Alfons Palais ) is located at Wittelsbacherplatz in Munich. It was built in 1825/26 by Leo von Klenze and for 25 years lived by himself. From 1878, it belonged to the Prince Alfons and Ludwig Ferdinand of Bavaria.

After considerable destruction in the Second World War, it was renovated in 1949 and leased to the company, Siemens & Halske, which it was first used for fleet and leisure operations. 1957, Siemens acquired the building from the heirs of Ferdinand Ludwig. Today, the management of Siemens AG is headquartered there.
