Palamós CF

Palamos CF is a Spanish football club based in the Catalan coastal town of Palamos.

The club was founded in 1898 as Palamos Foot - Ball Club of Gaspar Matas i Danés who had learned the sport of football as a student in England. This Palamos CF is the oldest football club in Catalonia.

The club changed its name several times. So it was renamed in 1926 in Palamos Sports Club, 1941 in Palamos Club de Futbol and 1954 in Palamos Sociedad Cultural. In 1974, the present name Palamos Club de Futbol has been reintroduced.
