Palyul

The Pelyül Monastery ( Tib. yul dpal dgon pa Chinese Baiyu Sì白玉 寺) is the founding monastery of the Pelyül School, a sub- school of the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism. The Pelyül Monastery is one next to Kathog, Mindrölling, Dzogchen, Shechen and Dorje Drag the so-called "Six large sitting" of the Nyingma and was one of the five great sacrifices Temple of Dege Tusi.

It is located in the same county Pelyül ( Baiyue ) in Karze ( Garzê ) in Sichuan. It was Rigzin Kunzang 1675 by Sherab ( 1636-1699 ) founded the monastery is the seat of Namchö Terma of Tertön Migyur Dorje ( 1645-1667 ). His Holiness Penor Rinpoche was the 11th throne holder of the Pelyül line. After his death in March 2009, the fifth Karma cake was the 12th throne holder.

With regard to the teaching and practice of exoteric and esoteric teachings, it differed from other Nyingmapa monasteries because it was in the rituals with the lower school Martshangpa ( smar tshang pa) Phagdru the Kagyu school in conjunction.
