Pandatheruppu or Pandatharippu or Pandaththarippu or Pandaththeruppu ( Tamil: பண்டத்தரிப்பு ) is a small town in northern Sri Lanka. It is situated in Jaffna district. It is about 20 km from the city of Jaffna. In the 19th century it was a mission location of the American Ceylon Mission ( ACM). Dr. John Scudder founded Asia's first center for western medicine in this city. In addition, there are a few schools that were founded by ACM as churches and Hindu temples.
