Panhellenic Citizen Chariot

The Panhellenic chariot of citizens ( Greek Πανελλήνιο Άρμα Πολιτών Panellinio ARMA Politón ) is a Greek social democratic political party.

The party was founded in April 2011 by the members of parliament Giannis Economou Dimaras and Vasilis who had not voted as Members of the then ruling party PASOK in opposition to the party line for the austerity package and were therefore excluded from the Group of PASOK.

Objectives of the party are:

  • The national independence of Greece
  • Popular sovereignty.
  • Social justice.
  • People's Solidarity.

In October 2011, Vasilis Oikonomou founded his own political movement called Free citizens.

For the general election in May 2012, the party joined a Wahlbundnis with the Anexartiti Ellines.
