Panjiayu tragedy

The massacre of Panjiayu (Chinese潘 家峪 惨案, Pinyin Panjiayu can'an ) was a Japanese Imperial Army of the crime committed on 25 January 1941, the population of the village Panjiayu in Fengrun Tangshan City in Hebei province massacre. 1230 villagers were killed, including 658 women and children. The tragedy was an example of the policy of triple eradication of the Japanese forces during the Second Sino-Japanese War.

The site of the massacre of Panjiayu ( Panjiayu can'an Yizhi ) is on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 6-901 ) since 2006.
