Parakeet Society

The Kelheimer Parakeet Society was an association of the opponents of Duke Ludwig the Bearded Teten of Bavaria -Ingolstadt. It was founded in the Rich of Bavaria -Landshut in Kelheim of Ludwig's cousin Henry on April 17, 1414. Other members were the Dukes Ernst and William III. of Bavaria- Munich and Count Palatine Johann von Pfalz- Neumarkt.

On February 16, 1415 were also Burggraf Friedrich of Nuremberg and Elector Ludwig of the Palatinate of the society. The members of the Alliance met on July 8, 1415 at the Council of Constance, where the parakeet company was in a closed life- time of Louis the Bearded defense alliance, the League of Constance converted.

Uniquely, the parakeet society is that it consisted only of princes. The founding members of society committed themselves to assist one another against any who harm or her judgment did not want to accept. Her symbol, the parakeet, should probably Ludwigs national bird, the St. Oswald's Raven parody.
