Parallels, Inc.

Parallels, Inc., established in 1999 and now based in Renton in Washington state company that offers that virtualization solutions for servers and workstations. The company is part of the focused on business customers virtualization software provider SWsoft. The original site was until September 2006 in Herndon, Virginia.

Products

Parallels 2006 is mostly known by their Mac - Intel -based product Parallels Desktop for Mac, which was launched a day after the announcement of Apple's Boot Camp. Parallels uses the virtualization technology, the Intel Core architecture to allow transparent access to the processor.

More products from Parallels are, for example, Parallels Workstation, a virtualization tool for Microsoft Windows or Linux, and the web server configuration tools Plesk Web Presence Builder and H -Sphere.

In the period between 2001 - 2003 Parallels extended his overall presence of by binding to major ISP and hosting companies such as the Strato AG finished Plesk licenses surrendered (Windows and Linux server).
