Paralysed Age

Paralysed Age was a German gothic rock and dark wave band.

History

Established in the original cast Marco Neumann, Stefan Kirsch and Michael Knust, 1991, the band released two MCs as well as on the label Glasnost Records CD Nocturne and EP Bloodsucker. Inspired by stories of Bram Stoker and Edgar Allan Poe texts often treated the subject of vampirism.

With this lineup, the band broke up in 1996. A compilation of the publications of this band phase was published in 1999 in the U.S. under the title Empire of the Vampire.

From 1998 played Paralysed Age as a duo consisting of Michael Knust and Andrea Knust. In this occupation, the publication of two more albums on the American label Dancing Ferret Discs occurred. On Into the Ice worked among others with the Crüxshadows violinist Rachel McDonnell.
