Paraskevas Antzas

Paraskevas Antzas (Greek Παρασκευάς Άντζας, born August 18, 1976 in Athens ) is a former Greek football player.

Career

Antzas began his career at Pandramaikos. In 1995 he moved to Skoda Xanthi. After three years at Skoda Xanthi in 2003, he moved to Olympiakos Piraeus. With Olympiakos Piraeus he was five championship titles and one Cup Winners' Cup. In January 2004 he moved to Doxa Dramas. He remained there for a year and then moved back to Skoda Xanthi. For the season 2007/ 08 he returned to Olympiakos Piraeus. Following the 2008/ 09 season, he finished his career as a player.

National

Antzas debuted on 5 February 1999 in the Greek national football team. In the game against Belgium he was in the starting lineup. He was in the squad for Euro 2008 in Austria and Switzerland. Antzas played through against Sweden and was in the final group game, when Greece was already eliminated, substitute against Spain in the 62nd minute for Sotirios Kyrgiakos. After the EM was announced that he will end his career as a national player.
