Pardesi (Hindi: परदेसी, translated: Stranger ) is a Hindi film directed by Kundan Kumar in 1970 with Mumtaz and Biswajeet in the lead roles.

Action

The beautiful Myna is a snake charmer and lives with her father, Ustad, who wanted to marry her soon with his assistant Tikora. One day Ustad finds a seriously injured man and brings him home. The man was bitten by a poisonous snake, which is why Ustad given him an antidote.

After some time, is improving the health of the man but not his past and can not remember his name itself. Its only feature is the expensive diamond ring on his hand.

Ustad and Myna call him from now on Pardesi and take care of him until he is fully healthy. Meanwhile, Myna and Pardesi come closer and fall in love, what Tikora is an eyesore. Ustad teaches Pardesi also the art of snake charming, which would make him a worthy successor, also Mynas page.

Therefore Tikora wants to kill the stranger, but Ustad arises in his way, whereupon Tikora then cascades down the cliffs him. Myna and Pardesi flee. On the run they are stopped by a car whose occupants Ranimaa, Savitri and Vijay, Ajay him as her son, husband and brother, identify.

What Pardesi / Ajay does not know is that Vijay had once fallen down the cliffs him only to the heritage not to have to split up. Finally comes out the whole truth and Pardesi obtained his memory after falling again. Meanwhile Myna dies of heart failure.
