Parisienne (cigarette)

Parisienne ( Parisian French ) is a cigarette brand of the second- largest Swiss cigarette manufacturer British American Tobacco (BAT ). She pointed in 2003 to a market share of 13.7 percent and was to Marlboro the best selling cigarette brand in Switzerland. Production site is Boncourt in the canton of Jura.

After product classifications such as MILD LIGHT or had been banned under restrictions on the advertising of tobacco products, the corresponding Parisienne varieties were renamed without changing the recipe. As part of a sales promotion measure at kiosks also the variety NOIRE was newly introduced.

Previously, the brand was popularized in Switzerland under the name Parisiennes. Parisiennes Filtres are now manufactured by Altadis in Argentina.

Parisienne is also sold in Austria and again in Germany.
