Parizh, Chelyabinsk Oblast

Parisch (Russian Париж ) is a village in Russia's Chelyabinsk Oblast, located on the southern border of the local Rajon Nagaibakski. It has (October 14, 2010 Balance ) 1 712 inhabitants.

Parisch is the seat of the rural community Parischskoje selskoje posselenije with a total of 2421 inhabitants (2010 ), to which even the village Lebedinoje and the settlements Kuschebajewski and Nowotschernigowski belong.

The village was founded in 1842 by nagaibakischen Cossacks and was soon in honor of the Battle of Paris - Russian pronunciation Parisch - named. Some other villages in the area also have the names of places of Russian victories in the Napoleonic Wars: Ferschampenuas ( administrative center of Rajons, according to Fere Champenoise ), Leipzig, Berlin and others.
