Parsons is a city and the county seat of Tucker County in the U.S. state of West Virginia. The city was named by Ward Parsons, which once owned the land on which is situated the city of Parsons today. In addition, the Cheat River is formed by the confluence of the rivers Shavers Fork and Black Fork in Parsons.
