Parviz Davoodi

Parviz Dawoodi; Parviz Davoodi also ( born 1952 in Tehran ) is an Iranian politician and since September 1, 2005 First Vice President of Iran.

Dawudi studied economics at Iowa State University, his dissertation is from the year 1981: Money supply determination and a lagged reserve accounting System.

After the Iranian Revolution, he returned to Iran and became a professor at the Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran. Already in the reign of Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani Alī he is an adviser in the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and later he was counselor to the Justice Minister Mahmoud Hashemi Shahrudi until he was appointed to the cabinet of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Dawudi was appointed on February 27, 2007 by Supreme Leader, Sayyid Ali Chamene'i in the Expediency Council.
