Pascal Blanc

Pascal Blanc is an indigenous white grape variety from Provence in France. The strain is perfect for cultivation in arid areas with fertile soils. However, in the wine-growing variety does not matter, since it is extremely sensitive to raw rot and powdery mildew. Approved is the variety in the Cassis appellations and palette. By 2014, the variety is also still allowed in the wines of the Côtes du Ventoux. It produces relatively neutral white wines and is used exclusively blended with other varieties. Officially a 'cultivated area of ​​about one hectare was reported. The variety is not replanted at the time. There is also a red variety called Pascal Noir.
