Passion Pit
Passion Pit is an American electropop band from Cambridge, Massachusetts, near Boston.
Career
At the beginning of Passion Pit was a self-produced EP by Michael Angelakos, which was supposed to be just a gift for his girlfriend. However, the songs came out in his circle of acquaintances so good that it becomes a serious band project. After a few performances with accompanying musicians, he has also been booked for the preliminary program known musicians such as Death Cab for Cutie and 2008 the label French Kiss took the now five -piece band under contract. In the same year they had with the EP - song Sleepyhead a first decent result: It reached number 9 of the U.S. Heatseekers charts. He was also in the British TV drama Skins 2009 - used up close.
Then the debut album Manners has been announced for 2009 and the BBC nominated Passion Pit for their prognosis Sound of 2009, which previously told them the breakthrough for the coming year.
