Pat O'Connor (racing driver)

Patrick " Pat" O'Connor ( born October 9, 1928 in North Vernon, Indiana; † May 30, 1958 in Indianapolis, Indiana) was an American race car driver.

Pat O'Connor launched 1952-1958 in 36 Champ Car races in the U.S., of which he won two. In 1956 he drove in a Darlington Blough - Offenhauser to victory, later the same succeeded him a year on the road from Trenton with a Kuzma - Offenhauser. Five times he stood by the 500 miles of Indianapolis on Start, highlight was reaching the pole position for the race in 1957, he finished eighth.
