Patrick Bowes-Lyon

Patrick Bowes -Lyon ( born March 5, 1863 in Belgravia, Middlesex, † October 5, 1946 in Westerham, Kent ) was a British tennis player.

Career

In 1887 he won with his compatriot, the British Herbert Wilberforce, the competition in the men's doubles at the Wimbledon Championships. They defeated Herbert Crispe and E. Barratt -Smith in three sets 7:5, 6:3, 6:2.

He was an uncle of Elizabeth Bowes -Lyon, the mother of Queen Elizabeth II.
