Swiss time trial champion in 2000 Grand Prix Pino Cerami 2008

Patrick Calcagni ( born July 5, 1977 in Sorengo ) is a Swiss cyclist.

Patrick Calcagni began his career in 2000 with the Italian cycling team Vini Caldirola. He was able to win the Swiss time trial championship in his first year. In his last year at the Italian Équipe he could decide a stage of the Tour of Japan itself.

2005 joined Calcagni for ProTour team Liquigas- Bianchi. With this he took 2006 for the first time at the Tour de France in part. In the Tour de Romandie 2007, he won the Sprinter rating for themselves.

In the 2008 season still to go to the British team Barloworld. Also in 2008 he won the Belgian GP Pino Cerami his only race next to his Swiss Champion title. The end of 2009 ended his career Calcagni.
