Patrick Chila

Patrick Chila ( born November 27, 1969 in Ris -Orangis ) is a French table tennis player. He was three times European champion.

National success

Chila is left-handed. He won so far ( December 2009) twelve times the French championships, namely four times in individual ( 1998, 2003, 2007, 2008 ) and eight times in the double (1990, 1991 Olivier Marmurek, 1939 Nicolas Chatelain, 1996, 1998 with Christophe LEGOUT, ​​1999, 2001, 2003 with Jean -Philippe Gatien ).

International success

From 1989 to 2008 he took part in fourteen times World Championships. He was runner-up in 1997 with the French team.

Most successes scored in double Chila. In the ITTF Pro Tour Finals 1999, he ranked as the second double with Jean -Philippe Gatien. In 2000 he was European champion in doubles with the same partner. Already in 1994 and 1998, he had won the title with the team.

From 1992 to 2008 he participated in all Olympic Summer Games and celebrated at the Olympic Games in 2000 his greatest success when he won the double with Gatien bronze. In 2006 he occupied at the German Open in Bayreuth with Werner Schlager square one.
