Patrick Ghigani

Patrick Sofian Ghigani (born 16 March 1978 in Munich) is a German footballer of Tunisian origin.

Career

Ghigani played in his youth for SpVgg Feldmoching, TSV 1860 München and TSV Milbertshofen before he moved to the Tunisian first division side Club Africain over FC Aschheim. In Tunis, he then completed his first two professional years, and he was runner-up Tunisian and African Cup Winners' Cup competition came to the finals to fail there at the Kaizer Chiefs in South Africa. In 2002 /03 he moved to LR Ahlen free transfer. There, the midfielder was due to two foot fractures within one season only to a use in the second Bundesliga and moved to Kickers Emden and in June 2004 returned to Tunisia to Stade Tunisia. After a very successful season in Tunisia's upper house, he returned again free transfer back to Germany. In the season 2005/ 06 and 2006/ 07 Ghigani played for SpVgg Unterhaching in the 2nd Bundesliga, where he stood in the kicker 's team of the year in the first year. Overall Ghigani came to 48 appearances in the league and five in the DFB Cup, scoring three goals for the " Hachinger ". After the descent of SpVgg Unterhaching Ghigani was initially without a club before he signed the Southern Regional division SC Pfullendorf in January 2008. On 1 January 2009 Ghigani signed with Greek third division club AS Rhodes and played there until June 2009, then moved within Greece from 1 July 2009 to Argos to Panargiakos. Only six months later, on 1 January 2010 changes Ghigani again within Greece to the League counterparty Panegialios from Aigio.

Overall Ghigani came on duty 41 games in Greece, scoring six goals, but shone in the first place as a template donor, what the German coach Uwe Erkenbrecher certainly took into account when he lured him in early January 2011 after Indonesia. There Ghigani played since 1 January 2011 Cendrawasih Papua FC in the LPI (Liga Premier Indonesia ), which was launched by an oil billionaire, under Head Coach Erkenbrecher and led his team as a captain on the field. Yet moved in October 2011 Ghigani to 6500 km to the northwest gelegenem club Persiraja Banda Aceh and now plays in the Indonesian Premier League. During the winter break 2012/13 Ghigani returned to his home club, the SpVgg Feldmoching, back and played in the district league Oberbayern North. Since summer 2013 he is player-coach in the county league with TSV Geiselbullach - New Esting.
