Patrick Siefkes

Patrick Siefkes ( born January 12, 1990 in Dessau ) is a German footballer who plays for Wacker Nordhausen in the Football Regionalliga Nord since 2013.

Career

Siefkes began his career as an all-rounder in his hometown club SV Dessau 05 and played up to the D- youth for the club. There followed a year for FC Grün-Weiß Piesteritz in the C- League Youth League. After he was elected at a youth tournament 's best goalkeeper, he left in the summer of 2004 Piesteritz and moved to Halle FC. He played with Hall in the B- League Youth League and then went to the U -19 of the 1st FC Magdeburg. In summer 2006, he left the A- Youth Regional and moved from Magdeburg in the U-19 Bundesliga for FC Carl Zeiss Jena, where he played until June 2009. For the 2009/10 season, he was promoted as the third goalkeeper to the first team of FC Carl Zeiss Jena. On 23 April 2011, he was against Wacker Burghausen his professional debut for FC Carl Zeiss Jena after coach Heiko Weber Carsten Nulle had previously suspended. On June 18, 2011 Siefkes extended his contract until 30 June 2013. Upon expiration of the contract, he moved in the summer of 2013 to league rivals Wacker Nordhausen.

Private

His cousin Christopher played from 2011 to 2013 with Patrick for FC Carl Zeiss Jena on loan from Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
