Patriotic Alliance for Change

The Alianza para el Cambio Patriótica (German Patriotic Alliance for Change ), short- APC, was an alliance of Paraguayan parties. The APC was created in 2007 with the aim of ending the 61- year long rule of the Colorado party. You could decide on 20 April 2008, the presidential election for themselves, their candidate Fernando Lugo was elected as the new president.

The alliance consisted of the following parties:

  • Partido Movimiento al Socialismo

For the municipal elections in 2010 was formed from the APC and other groups, the Frente Guasú.
