Patsy Ruth Miller

Patsy Ruth Miller ( born January 17, 1904 in St. Louis, † July 16, 1995 in Palm Desert ) was an American actress.

Miller, star of the silent film era, acted in over 70 films. Among other things, she played on the side of Rudolph Valentino and Lon Chaney.

In 1922 she became a WAMPAS Babystar.

The most important role Miller was the the dancing gypsy girl Esmeralda in The Hunchback of Notre -Dame.

In 1931 she retired from the film industry and became an author.

Miller was married three times with director Tay Garnett, the screenwriter John Lee Mahin and the businessman ES Deans.

Miller died in 1995 age of 91 in her home in Palm Desert.
